Gila Gabay

Gila Gabay is an Associate at Bales Beall LLP since May 2023, with prior experience as an Associate in Family Law at Heft Law from January 2021 to May 2023, and as an Independent Contract Lawyer at MT>3 (formerly Wortzmans) from January 2020 to January 2021. Gila started legal career as a Student-at-Law at Brattys LLP from July 2018 to May 2019 and was active in the Ontario Bar Association as a Student Member-At-Large of the Young Lawyers Division (East) from June 2017 to June 2018. Additional experience includes a Legal Intern role at The ICEN Group and participation in the 13th Annual ICC International Commercial Mediation Competition while studying at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law. Gila held leadership positions in student organizations, including Vice President of External Communications for the University of Ottawa Association Étudiante en Common Law Students' Society and various roles in the Delta Pi Sorority. Academic qualifications include a Juris Doctor (J.D.) in French Common Law from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor's Degree in French Studies Honours from York University.
