Karthik Subramanya

Karthik Subramanya, PhD, is an experienced project engineer currently working at Balfour Beatty US, with notable assignments on the Kissimmee City Hall Expansion and Fire Station #85 Ground-up Construction. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral researcher role at The University of Texas at Arlington, where Karthik conducted user interviews and analyzed qualitative data for construction software applications, as well as contributing to numerous journal and conference papers on technological innovations in construction transportation. Previous positions also encompass project engineering at Brigade Group, where project planning and scheduling were key responsibilities, and an internship at Expat Group focusing on blueprint analysis and quality control. Karthik holds a PhD in Construction Engineering and Management from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysore.
