Neil Dalton Obe

Neil Dalton OBE serves as the Defence Sector Director at Balfour Beatty plc since January 2024, overseeing work winning in the Defence and Security sector. Previous experience includes roles as Contract Director at Amey, Solution Director at Babcock International Group, and Business Development in Defence Mission Systems at Thales. Notably, Neil held significant positions with the Defence Infrastructure Organization, leading infrastructure services for Defence's training estate and overseas locations. Additionally, Neil served as Chief Combined and Joint Plans for NATO's Headquarters RESOLUTE SUPPORT and commanded the Army's Aviation Reconnaissance Force at the UK Ministry of Defence. A graduate of Cranfield University with an MSc in Design of Information Systems and the University of Reading with a BSc in Agriculture, Neil's extensive career features a strong focus on operational output, capability development, and military training management.
