Neill Cooke

Neill Cooke currently serves as the UK Head of Ethics and Compliance at Balfour Beatty plc, commencing in April 2024. Prior to this, Cooke held various leadership roles at Rolls-Royce from September 2014 to April 2024, including Head of Ethics and Compliance for Civil Aerospace, where responsibilities included policy drafting, whistleblowing investigations, and providing compliance advice concerning bribery and corruption risks. Earlier experience includes a Senior Ethics and Compliance Manager position at IMI, where Cooke led a compliance team and implemented essential screening software for global operations. Cooke began a legal career as a Trainee Solicitor at DLA Piper from August 2007 to September 2009, following academic achievements that include an LLB with distinction from the College of Law, Birmingham, and a BA in History and Politics from the University of Warwick.
