Julie L. Nash

Julie has extensive experience in senior living operations and management. Julie joined Balfour in 2019 to open the new community in Longmont, where she oversaw the fastest ramp up in occupancy in Balfour history, in the middle of a pandemic. Julie was promoted to Vice President of Operations and subsequently Co-President and Chief Operating Officer. She is heavily involved in operations, development, sales, HR and wherever else her hand is needed. Prior to joining Balfour, Julie spent the previous ten years of her career working as the Senior Administrator of two skilled nursing and post-acute rehab centers in Boulder, while helping oversee the leadership of sister communities in Colorado and Washington. Julie spent the first five years of her career as an Administrator for the largest not-for-profit owner, operator and developer of continuing care retirement communities on the East Coast, including opening a new community. Julie graduated from the University of Iowa with a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. Julie has a strong passion for senior living, a tireless energy, and is excited to lead Balfour into the future.
