Ankur Thapa

Ankur Thapa is a Senior Production Engineer at BKT Tires, specializing in the Speciality Carbon Black Unit since August 2021. In this role, Ankur oversees operations as Shift-In Charge and played a significant part in the plant commissioning of Speciality Carbon Black Reactors. Previous experience includes serving as a Production Engineer, where Ankur managed ASTM Grade Carbon Black Tread Reactors, and as a Graduate Engineering Trainee, assisting in the commissioning of a new carbon black line. Ankur also completed an internship at Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd in the Polypropylene Plant. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from Heritage Institute of Technology, along with foundational studies at St. Xavier's Institution.
