Alison Wuerfel

Alison Wuerfel is a Molecular Biology Assistant Scientist at Ball Horticultural Company, specializing in molecular markers and virus testing since June 2022. Responsibilities include leading ELISA assays, designing analysis protocols, and cross-training in PCR assay development. Prior experience includes serving as a Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) Leader and Mentor at Clemson University, providing tutoring for over 3,000 students. Alison also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, focusing on epigenetic modifications in maize and Arabidopsis thaliana.
