Gabriel Nallathambi

Gabriel Nallathambi has a diverse work experience in the field of algorithm and data science, biomedical engineering, and signal processing. Gabriel currently serves as the Director of Algorithm and Data Science at VitalConnect since January 2022. In this role, they are responsible for leading and managing algorithm projects. Prior to this, Gabriel worked at VitalConnect as a Project Manager, Algorithm from April 2020 to December 2021.

Before joining VitalConnect, Gabriel served as a Senior Biomedical Engineer in the R&D department at VitalConnect from October 2017 to March 2020. During this time, they played a crucial role in designing signal processing and machine learning algorithms for a wireless patch sensor that measures vital signs, actigraphy metrics, and detects arrhythmia. Gabriel led project teams through the entire development process, including design, development, verification and validation, and obtaining FDA clearances. Gabriel's work history also includes their role as the Chief Scientist at Pulsics, where they implemented pulse-based systems for physiological monitoring and speech as part of an NSF SBIR funded project. Gabriel Nallathambi has an extensive education history in the field of engineering. Gabriel completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Coimbatore Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2010.
