James Riley

Head Coach at Ballard Football Club

James Riley is an accomplished soccer professional with extensive experience in coaching, player relations, and athletics. As the Founder and CEO of JR7 Soccer since March 2018, James has focused on elite soccer training, mentorship, and recruiting consulting. Currently serving as the Director of Coaching for Eastside FC and Head Coach for both the U-23 Men’s Team and the 2007 Boys ECNL Team, James oversees the development of players and coaches. In addition, James is the Head Coach for Ballard FC, a semi-professional club in USL2. Previously, James held the position of President & Director of Coaching at Rush Soccer and played professionally with organizations such as Tacoma Stars and Major League Soccer, where a noteworthy eleven-year career included participation in over 300 matches and six championships. James holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Sociology, and Business from Wake Forest University.
