Aaron Latorre

Aaron Latorre is a Systems Test Engineer at Ballard Power Systems, where responsibilities include system integration of fuel cell technologies into heavy-duty vehicles. Previous experiences at Ballard Power Systems also encompassed work as a Systems Mechanical Engineering Co-op, focusing on compressor noise mitigation and prototype development. As a Senior Aerostructure/Flight Dynamics member with University of Victoria Rocketry, Aaron contributed to aerodynamic load analysis, fin design, and coupler analysis, while also co-leading projects on supersonic rocket components. Additional roles include a Fleet Services Co-op at BC Hydro, where optimization of vehicle management processes occurred, and a Production Engineer Co-op at Allsalt Maritime, involving the design and assembly of shock-mitigating boat seats. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria and an Engineering Transfer degree from Camosun College.
