Sophie Perez

Sophie Perez is an experienced engineer currently serving as a Vehicle Systems and Integrated Test Engineer II at Relativity Space, having previously held the role of Vehicle Development Engineer I. Prior to this, Sophie worked as a Studio Technician at Venture Lab and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania, supporting courses in Integrated Computer-Aided Design and Product Design. Additional experience includes internships at General Motors in both Advanced Vehicle Development and Vehicle Systems, as well as a Senior Teacher position at SummerTech, where Java, Python, and 3D Modeling were taught. Involvement with Penn Electric Racing as a member of the mechanical team further highlights Sophie’s engineering background. Sophie's academic credentials include a Master of Engineering in Integrated Product Design and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Pennsylvania, along with a high school diploma from King School.
