Hamed Pouriayevali

Hamed Pouriayevali, MASc., EIT, is a seasoned engineer specializing in fuel cell technology and mechanical engineering, currently serving as a Unit Cell Specialist at Ballard Power Systems since April 2024. Previous experience includes a role as a Fuel Cell Stack Engineer at FTXT Energy Technology Co., Ltd., where responsibilities encompassed the design and development of PEM fuel cell components, alongside simulation, assembly, inspection, and troubleshooting. Hamed also held positions as a Mechatronics Engineer at Tellext, a Data Scientist at Applied Quantitative Methods, and various teaching roles at The University of British Columbia. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tehran. Throughout a diverse career, Hamed has demonstrated expertise in project management, data analysis, and engineering design, alongside contributions in academia and freelance graphic design.
