Siva Sankar VK, P.Eng. has extensive experience in structural FEA modeling and simulation. Siva Sankar currently works as a Principal Engineer at Ballard Power Systems, leading the FEA modeling and simulation team. Prior to this, they worked as a Sr. FEA Engineer at the same company. Before joining Ballard Power Systems, Siva worked at Altair as a CAE Specialist and Stress Engineer. Siva Sankar also has a significant tenure at Caterpillar Inc., where they served as a Technical Lead for Simulation and Sr. Engineer for Simulation, leading the Virtual Product Development efforts for mining machine structures. Siva began their career at Infotech Enterprises Limited as a Design Engineer, specializing in FEA structural analysis of railway and aerospace components. Siva Sankar also worked as an FEA Analysis Engineer at Esquire Engineering Solutions Limited, focusing on the structural analysis and design of automotive components.

Siva Sankar VK, P.Eng. began their education in 1999 at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering. Siva Sankar completed their undergraduate studies in 2003.
