Valerie Romero

Valerie Romero has extensive experience in food safety and compliance, currently serving as the Compliance & Regulatory Affairs manager at Ballester Hermanos Inc. since May 2010, where Valerie developed and managed the Quality Control and Compliance Department. As a Freelance Food Safety Auditor since July 2021, Valerie provides auditing and coaching services to ensure client compliance. Additionally, as a consultant since September 2008, Valerie specializes in developing and implementing food safety systems to meet regulatory requirements. Valerie's earlier experience includes a role as Quality Control Manager at Empresas Santana from February 1991 to September 2008, where Valerie led the Quality Control and Quality Assurance Department. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Science in Food & Nutrition from Purdue University.
