Ian McVicker

Ian McVicker has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Ian started their career in 1989 with the U.S. Coast Guard, where they served in various positions such as Master Chief Petty Officer, Director of Operations, and Operations Manager. During their time with the Coast Guard, they demonstrated expertise in operational planning, resource utilization, and team leadership.

In 2014, Ian joined the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) as an Operations Coordinator, where they specialized in towing vessel technical expertise and compliance with towing vessel regulations. Ian also played a significant role in developing ABS Americas' towing vessel survey, audit, and training programs.

In 2017, Ian took on the role of Vice President, Safety and Regulatory Compliance at Western Rivers Boat Mgt Inc, before moving on to become the Port Captain at Marquette Transportation Company, LLC.
