Janette Keating

Janette Keating is an art advocate. She hails from Canada where she enjoyed a career as a French Immersion teacher. In the United States, her passion for dance, and visual art has become the focus of her energy. Involvement with art museums such as LACMA and The Contemporary Austin as a volunteer art educator has enriched her personal lifework as an artist. A recent graduate degree in Art Education/ Arts and Cultural Management from the University of Texas has directed her energy toward service on various local art-related boards of directors, including the Texas Society of Sculptors and The Contemporary Austin.
