Stevie Sparks

Stevie received their music degree from Knox College, where they served as the saxophone Section Leader of the Knox Jazz Ensemble. Upon returning to Texas, they worked in a variety of roles at places such as Conspirare, Austin Chamber Music Center, and Greater Austin Music Academy. They joined Ballet Austin as an accompanist in 2018 and now play for a number of other companies in the Austin area. They enjoy adapting all kinds of music for classes, from jazz to pop songs to video game soundtracks.

As a multi-instrumentalist, Stevie is also a member of two local bands: Oh Antonio & His Imaginary Friends (sax, flute) and Sheilava (sax, piano, flute). They have worked on several projects as a guest performer, session musician, and composer, and are always looking to take on new musical challenges. Their work as a solo musicians can be found on YouTube under the name SymphonicElectric.
