Nicholas Maughan

Nicholas Maughan serves as the Artistic Director for NEXT Ensemble since April 2019 and holds the position of Company Pianist with Ballet West from August 2019 to the present. Previously, Nicholas was the Associate Music Director for the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, contributing to "Legally Blonde, the Musical" in mid-2019. At the University of Utah from January 2016 to April 2019, Nicholas worked as a Vocal Coach and Accompanist. Additional experience includes serving as Executive Assistant at Broadway Capital, Inc. from July 2018 to February 2019, Production Coordinator for One Voice Children's Choir in 2018, and Music Director at both the Unitarian Universalist Church of Ogden (2010-2017) and Weber State University (2008-2017). Nicholas holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from Weber State University, earned in 2012.
