Media mogul Jerry L. Brooks has made his presence known in the Austin entertainment industry. As Co-Founder of Ballistic Blade Entertainment, an entertainment company he started with a few of his lifelong friends, Jerry has worked alongside local artists. He has worked with show host Devi Dev from Eminem's Shade 45 and during SXSW was part of the team that produced podcasts featuring Kevin Liles and his panel mates. Jerry's creativity and determination have been instrumental in the marketing and completion of many of the company projects. As CIO and lead marketer, he has been critical in the shaping and maintenance of Ballistic Blade Entertainment's image. Whether it is creating the initial concept, working behind the camera, or lending critical financial support to the endeavor, he has tirelessly devoted himself to the growth of Ballistic Blade Entertainment. Chinaman Wu-Ping: Stranger out of Canton, Swear by the Sword, and R.O.B. are just a few of the projects has been involved in creating. Recently Ballistic Blade teamed up with Cry Havoc Stunt Team and is working on a few action and sci-fi-related projects. Ballistic Blade Entertainment also partnered with Shonda Harris and Jackie Mays of Talent Beyond Belief Production to help provide principal cinematography for "A Better Lyfe" set to release sometime in 2014. Latest projects include a Netflix series titled "Twenty-Somethings: Austin" in 2021. Jerry is a United States Air Force military veteran and has served in Afghanistan under various government contracts. He has been dedicated to developing Ballistic Blade's social network and sustainable bonds with people in the entertainment industry at large, especially in the local community.
