David Reay

David Reay has a strong background in finance and accounting. David started their career in 2003 at Balmoral Group Ltd, where they worked as an Accounts Assistant for two years before being promoted to Assistant Accountant. In 2008, they joined Balmoral Sectional Tanks Ltd as a Management Accountant, a role they held for three years. In 2011, they moved to Balmoral Offshore Engineering and took on the position of Group Management Accountant. David later became the Financial Controller in 2015 and was recently appointed as the Finance Director in May 2019.

David Reay earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Computing from Robert Gordon University from 1999 to 2003. In 2011, they obtained a Diploma in Management from the Chartered Institute of Management. David also pursued further education and completed the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) program at Open Learning from 2010 to 2015. Additionally, in 2015, they attended the Chartered Institute of Management to obtain the Chartered Manager certification.
