Davin Chang

Davin Chang is a sourcing strategist at Balsam Brands with over 11 years of experience at the company. Davin has also held positions as a sourcing analyst and brand management analyst. Prior to their work at Balsam Brands, Chang was the promotions director and afternoon DJ at KALX 90.7FM, where they oversaw radio sponsorships with local events, campus events, record labels and business partners. Davin also managed and trained 25 staff members in the promotion of the radio station through collaborations with local businesses, venues and concert promoters. Chang has also worked as an assistant manager and concert department member at ASUC SUPERB Concerts, where they booked artists and entertainers to play inexpensive or free concerts on the UC Berkeley campus. Davin also helped set up stage and sound logistics, insurance, security, hospitality and marketing for weekly SUPERB events with artists Cold War Kids, Steve Aoki, Immortal Technique, Counting Crows, Thao with the Get Down Stay Down, Zion I, the Coup, Mirah and many others. Chang has also interned at the RCA/Jive Label Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Absolutely Kosher / Misra Records, Blip.fm and hardboiled Newsmagazine.

Davin Chang has a B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, where they studied Business Administration and minored in Music. Davin was involved in KALX 90.7FM, ASUC SUPERB Concerts, and hardboiled Newsmagazine while they were a student there. Prior to that, they attended Cupertino High from 2003 to 2007.
