Giacomo Guilizzoni is the founder and CEO of Balsamiq. Giacomo has over fifteen years of experience in the software industry, including stints at Adobe Systems and O'Reilly & Associates.

Giacomo began their career in 2002 as a quality assurance engineer at Adobe Systems. In 2003, they transitioned to software engineering, and eventually became an engineering lead for the next generation of Acrobat Connect. Giacomo left Adobe in 2008 to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.

In 2009, Giacomo founded Balsamiq, a company that makes software that helps people create mockups of their user interfaces. Balsamiq has been a huge success, and Giacomo has been recognized as a thought leader in the software industry. Giacomo is a popular speaker and author, and their work has been featured in The New York Times, Forbes, and Wired.

Giacomo Guilizzoni has a Laurea in Computer Science from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and also attended an exchange program in Computing in the Arts at UCSD.
