Ian Roberton, ACA, CFA, is an experienced financial professional currently serving as Group Financial Controller at The Baltic Exchange since July 2021. Previously, Ian held the same title at TigerWit Group from April 2019 to June 2021. Prior to that role, Ian was the Group Financial Reporting Manager at ayondo and served as Group Treasurer and Senior Financial Analyst at Price Forbes & Partners. Ian's career began at KPMG in the Cayman Islands as an Audit Manager after progressing from Audit Senior at Grant Thornton UK LLP. Ian also worked as Assistant Vice President at Artex Risk Solutions (Cayman) Ltd. Ian holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Mathematics from the University of Birmingham, obtained between 2000 and 2003.

The Baltic Exchange represents a global community of shipping interests.
