Anders Kurtén

Anders Kurtén has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Anders currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Baltic Yachts Oy Ab Ltd, a leading builder of custom-designed, advanced carbon composite superyachts. In this role, they specialize in sailing and motor yachts and is also involved in sustainable solutions for superyachts.

Prior to this, Anders Kurtén was the Chairman of the Board at Finnboat - Finnish Marine Industries Federation / Venealan keskusliitto in 2019.

From 2011 to 2019, they worked at Inha Works Ltd, Yamaha Motor Group as the Director of Products for Buster, Cross & Yamarin Boats. Anders'sresponsibilities included product development, marketing, and portfolio management. Anders was also involved in shaping the overall strategy of the company.

Before that, Anders Kurtén held the position of Managing Director at Finngulf Yachts Ltd from 2006 to 2010. Anders was responsible for the production of sailing yachts and oversaw various manufacturing technologies.

In the earlier stages of their career, they worked as an Executive Producer at Nethod LM&P EURO RSCG, an Account Manager at VSI Communications, and a Project Manager and Marketing Manager at Interweb Design Oy.

Anders Kurtén began their career at Tallink Finland Oy, where they initially worked as a check-in clerk before being promoted to Terminal Manager. Anders also wrote a sponsored Master's thesis on cultural differences in perceived service quality.

Anders Kurtén completed their education at the Hanken School of Economics from 1990 to 1997, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Economics. Prior to that, they attended The English School of Helsinki from 1975 to 1986. No specific degree or field of study is mentioned for their time at The English School of Helsinki.
