Matthew Shin

Matthew Shin is a Design Engineer at Baltimore Aircoil Company, where employment began in September 2022. Matthew has extensive experience in mechanical design, previously serving as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Powercon Corporation from March 2018 to September 2022 and as an ORISE Research Fellow at the FDA from June 2016 to January 2018, focusing on improving cardiac lead device testing procedures. Additionally, Matthew holds a long-standing role as the Director of Player Development for Mid Atlantic Tournament Baseball/Rawlings MD Prospects since August 2014, overseeing coaching, practice, and game strategies. Early career experiences include leadership as President and Head Coach of the University of Maryland Club Baseball team and a Mechanical Engineering internship at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, attained in May 2016.
