Jalil Abdul

Jalil Abdul is a highly experienced engineering professional with a focus on environmental and civil engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at the Baltimore City Department of Public Works since July 2022, Jalil is responsible for implementing various projects, including stream restoration and stormwater management initiatives. Previously, in the same department, Jalil worked as a Project Manager from July 2017, overseeing significant programs related to stormwater management and impervious surface areas. Jalil's earlier roles include serving as a Field Engineer at AMT Consultants, where Jalil contributed to the replacement of the Edmondson Avenue Bridge, and as a Geotechnical Engineer at Geo-Technology Associates, focusing on construction observation and materials testing. Jalil's career began with a research assistant role at the Maryland State Highway Administration. Educationally, Jalil holds a Doctor's of Engineering degree and a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, all from Morgan State University.
