Robert Salley

Robert Salley currently serves as the Chair of the Board of School Commissioners for Baltimore City Public Schools and as a Director at WestEd. Previously, Robert held positions as a Fellow in the United States Senate and as a Program Officer at the U.S. Department of Education. Additional experience includes consulting for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and serving as Director of Marketing and Director of Business Development at Harvard Graduate School of Education. Prior roles include Program Director at Education Pioneers, Human Resource Consultant for the NYC Department of Education, and Management Analyst at the U.S. Agency for International Development. Educator experience at Baltimore City Public Schools was also gained. Robert earned a Master's degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, a Master's in Education from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor's in Political Science from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
