Philip Carpenter

Philip Carpenter, CVP, currently serves as the Assistant Director of Operations at the Baltimore Convention Center since April 2018. Previously, Philip held the position of Director of Operations at Spectra by Comcast Spectacor from July 2015 to August 2017 and was an Operations Manager and Assistant Operations Manager at Global Spectrum from August 2011 to June 2015. Philip's early career includes an event coordinator role at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts and an event operations intern position at Comcast-Spectacor. Philip completed a Bachelor's degree in Sport and Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina in 2009, where involvement included coordination for the North American Society for Sport Management Conference and the Sport and Entertainment Venues Tomorrow Conference. Additional experience includes an internship at IAAM PAFMS and working in group sales and guest services at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, contributing to various operational roles in the sports and entertainment sector.
