Matt Mitchell

Matt Mitchell is an experienced educational professional with a strong background in career counseling and community engagement. Currently serving as a Career Navigator at Baltimore County Public Schools since October 2024, Matt plans and implements career pathway instruction, collaborating with school staff and community stakeholders. Previously, as Coordinator of Special Projects at Art with a Heart, Matt designed creative community art experiences that primarily benefited Baltimore City Schools. Matt also held roles as Director of Organizational Development and Visiting Instructor at Eagle Rock School and has a considerable history at Baltimore County Public Schools, including positions such as English Department Chair and High School English Teacher. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from Towson University and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and English from the University of Lynchburg.
