James Etchells

James Etchells, CPA, currently serves as Senior Manager of Strategic Initiatives and Chief of Staff to the COO at Baltimore Gas and Electric, a role held since September 2019. Prior to this, James held various senior management positions within the same company, focusing on vegetation management, gas business planning, and financial operations, starting as a Senior Financial Analyst in 2017. Earlier experience includes a position as Senior Financial Analyst at Exelon and several roles at RSM US LLP, progressing from Assurance Associate to Assurance Supervisor. James began the professional career as an Input Control Coordinator at IBM and completed an internship at Coface in North America. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business Administration with a Finance Concentration from Elon University, obtained from 2006 to 2010.
