Jamie Barnett has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. In 1998, they started as a Production Manager/Process Engineer at Alcore and worked there until 2006. After that, they moved to FMC Corporation as a Senior Process Engineer from 2006 to 2008. From 2007 to 2012, they worked at Constellation as a Senior Process Engineer and later as an Engineering Supervisor. In 2012, they joined Exelon as a Corporate Engineering Manager and later became an Operations Manager from 2014 to 2018. In the same year, they joined Amazon as a Sr Manager - Operations for a brief period. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Manager - Fleet Operations and Engineering at Baltimore Gas and Electric. Then, they were promoted to Manager - Emerging Technologies & Innovation from 2020 to 2021, followed by the role of Sr. Manager - Smart Grid & Innovation from 2021 to 2023. Currently, Jamie is employed by Baltimore Gas and Electric as the Director - Transmission & Substation Operations.

Jamie Barnett has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering Management from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
