Sydney Koeppel

Sydney Koeppel is a seasoned professional in the field of crime analysis and forensic mental health counseling, currently serving as the Crime Gun Intelligence Center (CGIC) Intelligence and Analysis Supervisor at the Baltimore Police Department since October 2020. Prior to this role, Sydney held positions at the New York City Police Department as a Crime Analyst I and gained valuable experience as a Forensic Mental Health Counseling Extern at EAC Network. Sydney's background includes internships with the Virginia Indigent Defense Commission and The Legal Aid Society of NYC, where assistance was provided to legal teams in various capacities. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College (CUNY) and a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Psychology from George Mason University.
