Dan Belson

Dan Belson is a skilled journalist with extensive experience in reporting and editing. Currently serving as a reporter for The Baltimore Sun and Capital Gazette since February 2022, Belson previously worked as an editor for Dundalk Eagle and staff reporter for Southern Maryland News at APG Media of Chesapeake from August 2019 to February 2022. Early career roles included resident assistant positions at Johns Hopkins Center For Talented Youth and St. Mary's College of Maryland, as well as managing editor of The Point News. Belson began professional development through a summer internship at Maryland Transit Administration in 2018 and participated as a professional fellow in a masculinity discussion group at St. Mary's College of Maryland. Belson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from St. Mary's College of Maryland, earned in 2019.
