David Ayllón

David Ayllón, PhD, is currently a University Lecturer at California State University, Northridge, specializing in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and signal processing for senior courses. Ayllón has extensive experience in the tech industry, serving as a Staff Engineer for Balto, where significant advancements in automatic speech recognition systems were achieved, including the deployment of a real-time Spanish ASR system. Previous roles include Senior Research Engineer at UBTECH Robotics and Research Scientist at ObEN, Inc., where innovative solutions were developed within fast-paced environments. Ayllón has also led an R&D team at Fonetic, focused on enhancing AI functionalities for speech interaction, and conducted postdoctoral research in distributed signal estimation at Universidad de Alcalá.
