Martin Rohland

Martin Rohland is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in the technology and venture capital sectors. As Co-Founder and Managing Director of BALY, a leading tech company in Iraq, Martin has successfully spearheaded the largest fundraising in Iraqi tech. In addition, Martin serves as Managing Director for Rocket Internet SE in the Middle East, overseeing more than 20 ventures with a portfolio exceeding $1 billion. Martin's leadership extends to Snapp!, where the role of Group COO and CFO involves scaling operations significantly. Furthermore, Martin holds board positions at Jeeny and MILANO VICE, and has a history of impactful roles in private equity and management consulting with notable firms, underscoring a strong foundation in both business development and strategic planning. Educational credentials include an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Mathematics with Business Management from the University of Birmingham.
