Anita Nassar is a partner and global head of the Client Relationship Group at Balyasny Asset Management (BAM). She also is a member of the firm’s Management Committee. Nassar joined BAM in 2020 from Citadel, where she served as a partner and managing director for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. During her seven years at Citadel, Nassar helped develop and establish a diverse set of government institutional relationships and grow assets under management from $10 billion to $26 billion. Before that, Nassar was managing director and co-head of government institutional sales at Merrill Lynch, London. Previously, she was managing director and global head of government sales at HSBC, serving Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Nassar is a member of the Board of Trustees at Northeastern University. Nassar has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the American University of Beirut.
