Samuel Donat

Samuel Donat currently serves as the Head of Enterprise Technology at Balyasny Asset Management L.P. since May 2024. Prior to this role, Samuel held a consultancy position at Point72 from October 2023 to April 2024. Between February 2021 and October 2023, Samuel was the Chief Operating Officer at NYDIG, following similar COO roles at Stone Ridge from March 2018 to February 2021. Earlier experience includes serving as the Global Head of Corporate Technology at Millennium Management from March 2013 to March 2018 and Director at SAC Capital from September 2006 to March 2013. Samuel began the career as a Software Engineer at Advent Software from June 2000 to May 2005 and continued as a Software Engineer at Amaranth Group Inc. from 2005 to 2006. Samuel Donat earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California State University, Chico, between 1995 and 2000.
