Tim Ruwiel

Tim Ruwiel is a Coastal Engineer with extensive experience at multiple organizations, including Xbloc, BAM Infraconsult BV, and DMC Marine Consultants since September 2020. Prior to this, Tim Ruwiel completed an internship at BAM Infra Nederland focusing on enhancing the stability of low breakwaters covered with XblocPlus. Earlier in career development, Tim Ruwiel worked at Hoogheemraadschap van Delfland in operational support and as a trainee, where research was conducted on safety regulations for primary water barriers. Practical experience was gained in dike reinforcement projects during an internship at Oldenkamp B.V. Tim Ruwiel holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology, alongside a Premaster in Hydraulic Engineering from the same institution and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Water Management from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
