Alan Cox

Alan joined BAM Nuttall in 1985 as a site engineer. He has worked through the ranks to become preconstruction director, a BAM Nuttall Executive Board post he has held for over two years. During his time with us, Alan spent three years with sister company BAM International in Ghana, West Africa.

Alan is a strong believer in collaboration and has delivered several projects working in alliances. He plays a large part in finding business opportunities which allow BAM Nuttall to be more sustainable, and delivery more efficient. He is a chartered civil engineer, member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, member of the Institute of Collaborative Working and a fellow of the Permanent Way Institution.

Outside of work, Alan has a great passion for golf and has represented Britain at University level and several counties at various levels.
