Eric Chao

Eric Chao is a skilled actuary with extensive experience in the insurance industry. Since August 2017, Eric has served as a founding member and actuary at Bamboo Insurance. Prior to this, Eric held the position of Director of Actuarial/FP&A at Pacific Specialty Insurance Company from May 2015 to August 2017, after serving as Actuarial Manager in the same organization. Eric's career began at The Doctors Company as an Actuarial Analyst, with previous roles at Fireman's Fund Insurance Company and Novellus Systems. Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Statistics and Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, earned between 2007 and 2010.
