Kayla Doan

Kayla Doan is currently serving as the Vice President of Operations and Cultural Chair for the Vietnamese Student Association at the University of Washington, where responsibilities include conducting workshops on cultural awareness and inclusion, as well as planning and facilitating biweekly meetings for over 300 members. In addition to this role, Kayla works as a server at Bamboo Sushi and previously served at Red Lobster. Kayla also leads a team in the Husky Coding Project focused on machine learning applications in chess. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Informatics at the University of Washington, Kayla has a background in biology with an associate's degree from Highline College, and obtained a high school diploma from Todd Beamer High School.
