Diana McCrumb began their professional career in 2013 as a Paraprofessional for the Bangor Summer School Migrant Program. In 2018, they took on a Graduate Assistant role at Grand Valley State University and a Robotics Teaching Assistant role at West Michigan Aviation Academy. In 2020, they joined BAMF Health as a Research Engineer where they developed FDA-compliant AI for 3D medical image processing of organs and tumors for clinical application as an AL and ML engineer, developed predictive patient-specific treatment plans for patients with advanced metastatic cancer based on treatment history and diagnostic medical scans as a data scientist, and directed and managed an in-house medical image segmentation team for AI applications based on the needs dictated by physicians, radiologists, and nuclear medicine technologists.
Diana McCrumb earned a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Grand Valley State University in 2019, after having earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences, General from the same university in 2017.
