Ezio Lauro is an experienced professional in quantitative trading and asset management with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as an Assistant Portfolio Manager at Balyasny Asset Management L.P., Ezio previously held significant roles at Centrica Energy, including Head of Quantitative Forward Trading and Senior Portfolio Manager - Forward Asset Trading, focusing on European energy markets and renewable products. Additionally, Ezio has contributed to academia as a Visiting Lecturer at Aalborg University and has held various positions in quantitative research and engineering. With a robust educational background that includes a PhD in Mathematics from UCL and an MBA from Bayes Business School, Ezio possesses strong technical skills in Python, MongoDB, AWS, and other quantitative tools.
