Joshua Que

Joshua Que has extensive experience in the legal field. Joshua currently holds the position of EVP, Deputy General Counsel at Banc of California since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as SVP, Deputy General Counsel at Banc of California from January 2018, and as SVP, Associate General Counsel from April 2015 to January 2018.

Before joining Banc of California, Joshua worked at Bank of America as SVP, Assistant General Counsel from September 2005 to November 2014. In this role, they supported the Bank's Consumer Mortgage Division, managing and negotiating various corporate agreements pertaining to securitization, purchase and sale, servicing, non-disclosure, statements of work, letters of direction, and vendor agreements.

Joshua gained litigation experience at Consumer Legal Services P.C., where they worked as an Associate from March 2004 to September 2005. Joshua handled consumer warranty cases in litigation, vigorously advocating for clients to achieve positive outcomes. Joshua also handled all aspects of litigation, including retaining and deposing expert witnesses, drafting and arguing motions, and managing discovery matters.

At P.K. Schrieffer LLP, Joshua served as an Associate from February 2003 to March 2004. Joshua was responsible for full case management in insurance defense of construction defect and premises liability claims. Joshua successfully litigated complex cases, reaching settlements within authorized limits.

Joshua Que attended the California State University of Los Angeles, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration, Finance, and Pre-Law. Later, they enrolled in Whittier Law School to complete a Juris Doctor degree.
