Bogdan Cioban has held various roles in the banking industry since 2006. Bogdan is currently working at BCR as the Head of the Corporate Risk Underwriting Department, a position they have held since May 2022. Bogdan started their career at Piraeus Bank Romania, where they held the positions of Team Leader in Corporate Credit Analysis from March 2008 to September 2010 and Team Leader in Mortgage Loans from February 2006 to March 2008.
Bogdan Cioban's education history begins with their completion of high school at Stephan Ludwig Roth High School in Medias from 1999 to 2003. During this time, their field of study was focused on physics and chemistry.
From 2003 to 2007, Bogdan pursued a Bachelor's Degree at Academia de Studii Economice din Bucuresti. Their field of study during this period was banking, corporate finance, and securities law.
Subsequently, Bogdan completed their Master's Degree from 2007 to 2009 at Academia de Studii Economice din Bucuresti, specializing in banking and financial markets.
Finally, from 2010 to 2016, Bogdan attended Universitatea "Babes-Bolyai" din Cluj-Napoca, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in finance and financial management services.
