Cosmina Plaveti has extensive experience in the banking industry, particularly in investment banking. Cosmina started their career at BCR in 2005, where they held various roles. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Legal Adviser in the Group Management and Capital Markets Division, focusing on structured finance, syndicated loans, and securities transactions. In 2007, they became the Head of the Compliance Department, responsible for ensuring compliance with legal provisions and internal regulations. In 2008, they moved onto the role of Senior Funding & Documentation Manager, where they drafted and negotiated legal agreements and provided advisory services for debt capital market financing. Cosmina was later promoted to the role of Senior Banker in Investment Banking before assuming their current position as the Head of Investment Banking in 2023. Throughout their career, Cosmina has been involved in significant debt capital market transactions both locally and internationally.
Cosmina Plaveti completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Law from the University of Bucharest from 1996 to 2000. Following that, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Law from the same university in 2001, specializing in European Business Law. In 2004 to 2005, Cosmina Plaveti attended the Academia de Studii Economice din București where they completed a Master of Science degree in European Studies.
