Matteo Galante

Matteo Galante has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Matteo currently holds the position of Head of Financial Risk at Banca Ifis, where they have been working since January 2023. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Risk Governance Specialist at the same company. Before joining Banca Ifis, Matteo worked as an Independent Business Consultant in 2020 and as a Teaching Assistant Senior at Università Ca' Foscari Venezia from May 2020 to December 2020. In their earlier career, Matteo held various positions including Head of Trading at GWM Group from September 2017 to October 2019, Senior Portfolio Manager at Banca Intesa from September 2015 to August 2017, and Portfolio Manager at Praude AM from July 2014 to August 2015. Matteo also worked at Veneto Banca for a significant period, where they served as a Senior Portfolio Manager from September 2002 to June 2014 and as a Treasurer from April 2001 to August 2002. Additionally, Matteo worked as a Technical Analyst Freelancer for various websites from June 1999 to September 2001.

Matteo Galante obtained a Master's degree in Economics and Finance from Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, where they studied from 1994 to 1999. In 2008, they also obtained a certification in CFA from the CFA Institute.
