Maurizio Rottin has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Maurizio began their career in 2006 as a System Administrator at DBA Lab spa, where they developed and administered network infrastructure, servers, and web hosting/business systems. Maurizio also provided technical support to end users and played a key role in virtualizing servers with open-source products. In 2010, Maurizio joined Previmedical SpA as a Senior System Administrator, leading projects involving the re-design, migration, and administration of IT infrastructure. Maurizio successfully implemented improvements to uptime and oversaw the creation of core and access networks. Maurizio joined Banca Ifis in 2013 as an Infrastructure Network and Security Specialist. In this role, they provided direction on operational security and network design, led technology migration projects, and managed budgets and personnel. Maurizio recently transitioned to the position of Head of Security Operation & Network, where they continue to make significant contributions in their field.
Maurizio Rottin completed a Laurea in Informatica with a specialization in Operating Systems at Università Ca' Foscari Venezia. Maurizio also obtained a certification as a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA.
