Laura Popescu

Laura Popescu currently serves as the Head of Special Projects in Finance & Accounting at Banca Transilvania since 2019, where responsibilities include data management, change management, and IT applications implementation. Previously, Laura held the position of Director in the Corporate Banking Business Support Division at Bancpost from 2008 to 2018, focusing on business strategy and product development for corporate and SME sectors. Earlier experience includes roles as Team Leader and Senior Programmer in Data Management at Raiffeisen Bank Romania from 1999 to 2008, and as an IT Specialist at BRD - Groupe Societe Generale from 1997 to 1999, with a strong emphasis on software development and data management. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Systems and Computers Science from University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, complemented by a business course at Business Future Solutions in 2019.
