Petronela Despoiu

Petronela Despoiu is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience at Banca Transilvania since April 2011, currently serving as a Sustainable Finance Corporate Credit Risk Coordinator, where responsibilities include designing credit policy and monitoring the Sustainable Finance Framework. Previous roles at the bank encompass corporate credit risk assessment, loan origination, and strategic support for large corporate segments. Additionally, Petronela held the position of Finance Manager at the Romanian Entrepreneurship Club from February 2012 to May 2015, overseeing a EUR 2 million EU-funded budget with a focus on efficient expense management and target achievement. Petronela is pursuing an ACCA professional qualification and has completed a Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute, supplemented by strong academic credentials including a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Master's degree in Foreign Trade from Babes-Bolyai University.
